In the dead of winter, in the midst of multiple snowstorms, I needed to find new tenants for the other half of my Cambridgeport house. More than a month went by with no promising results. My partner and I recently visited Boston for the first time earlier this month with the intention of viewing apartments in readiness for our forthcoming move to America. “I would definitely recommend working with Jeff Stephens at ePlace again. I was in a serious time crunch as I had to move out of my apartment in a week, and was having problems finding a new one under the time constraints (it’s a long, ridiculous story). The vast majority of people I had contacted about apartments either didn’t get in touch with me again, became unresponsive after several calls back and forth, or told me right after we had set up a viewing that the apartment had been rented. I called Jeff asking about an apartment listed on Craigslist, and he said he could be there in an hour. I saw the apartment then and told him that I liked it. As we left the apartment, there was another woman waiting for a broker, so Jeff said we had to hurry. We got back to his office as soon as we could, he contacted the landlord, we filled out all the paperwork, and he faxed it over as quickly as possible. Literally 5 hours after I first called Jeff, everything, including the landlord’s signature on a faxed form, was set. I can’t imagine getting better service than I got today, and would call up ePlace and Jeff in particular in a heartbeat whenever I want to move again.”

Jeff Stephens showed me the place, and then helped with everything I needed! He negotiated the contract with the landlord, and helped me to secure the deal in a timely manner. He also went above and beyond in creating an ad for me that ensured I found a roommate–in the middle of February, which is more difficult than summertime! The ad looked professional and before I knew it, I had tons of people wanting to check it out!
He also gave me great suggestions, like setting up a paypal account for monthly payments, and took me through the technical portion of the lease so I knew just what to expect! I have recently been working with Jeff Stephens at ePlace to help me find an apartment in Cambridge, MA, sight unseen from Kansas. After contacting a number of agents from other company’s, Jeff stood out from them all and was amazing. Jeff and his team worked very hard to cater to my specific requirements, supplying pictures, videos and detailed information to me back in Kansas. I had a unit available for rent in my owner-occupied 2-family in West Cambridge. We had rented in the past using various rental office.
