Gary came from South Florida, graduated from MIT in 1964, married Amy the same year, and has been in Massachusetts ever since. In 1996, they moved to a historic home on Brattle Street in Cambridge (built in 1857 by the Wyeth family). Previously, they had lived in Lexington for 26 years. One of their two grown children lives in Lexington, MA, the other in Washington DC. Amy has an active career as a CPA in Lexington. Gary and Amy are both amateur musicians, and are active in local orchestras and chamber music organizations. Gary recently served as the President of the Boston Chamber Music Society, and as trustee of Cambridge’s Longy School of Music. He is especially interested in South Asia and has made several Himalayan treks in Nepal and several visits to India.
