We arrived in Boston with only 2 days to find an apartment in Cambridge that was close to both of our schools. After trying a few places in Somerville (waste of time), we stumbled upon ePlace at the end of the first day. We sat down with Judd and found him to be the first agent that actually listened to us rather than trying to force options upon us that did not make sense. He took us to a few places in Central Square but we wanted to be closer to Harvard Sq.

The next day, we met early and looked at about 15 different places. All of them were solid options but we didn’t quite find a good fit. Nevertheless, Judd remained upbeat and determined to find us an apartment. He found it for us in the end and we met the landlord and got the lease paperwork started within hours of seeing it.

Over the next few weeks we stayed in constant contact with Judd as we coordinated a cross-country move. Not once did we have any reason to second guess Judd or ePlace. So far as customer service goes, I can’t imagine it gets any better than this. I am certain we would not have found this apartment (which we both love) without Judd or ePlace.”

“I am a landlord in the Greater Boston (mostly Cambridge) area with 40+ rental units. I was approached by ePlace to become the exclusive agent for our rental properties this past winter after they had much success renting several of our units last year. After a very impressive presentation, we decided to give it a shot. 6 Months into it, we have no doubt this was a great business decision. We have saved over 10k in rental fees and advertising, and have been able to increase our rental income by almost 10% from the previous year. We have had zero apartments go empty, and by June, 90% of our units were already rented. The tenants have had nothing but great things to say about ePlace. They inspect each unit when it becomes available, and then discuss with us what they believe should be the price.

In the past few years, we have noticed many agents are pre-occupied with renting as many units as possible, and don’t necessarily put in the effort needed to assure us of a superb tenant.
