We get national news on the real estate market almost every day. But what’s happening in our local market? We’ve put together some hyper-local stats that may be of interest.

• 10 Year View of Cambridge, Somerville, Medford, Arlington, Belmont, and Massachusetts markets (2003 through 2012) looking at market composition (percentage of singles, condos, and multis) and median price/market volume by property type. This is an excellent long view on our local market.
• Median Prices in Cambridge and Surrounding Communities (2012): looks at median prices for condos, single family homes, and 2 family homes in Cambridge and a few dozen neighboring communities. A good way to get a sense of average values in different markets, plus the change in price relative to the 2005 peak and to 2011.
